May I bring to your attention that the 2023 Guangdong Philosophy and Social Science Foundation --- Foreign Language and Informatization Projects released by the Guangdong Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science will be open for application recently.

The eligible applicants are required to engage in foreign language teaching and research work. As required, all the research application forms should be submitted in Chinese online, foreign staff ONLY assist the project application as co-investigators.

        广东省哲学社会科学规划项目“外语专项”包括“外语学科专项”和“教育信息化背景下的高等外语教育”专项课题(简称“外语信息化专项”）申报工作将于近日开始，项目申报人必须是在我校从事外语教学与科研工作的非外籍教师，具体内容请认真阅读网站链接或附件申报通知。
        项目申报人必须是在我省高等院校从事外语教学与科研工作的在职人员。项目负责人只能申报一个项目，且不能作为课题组成员参与其他项目的申报。每一位课题组成员则最多只能参与申报两个项目。
      “外语学科专项”拟立项23项，其中一般项目18项，青年项目5项，一般项目每项资助3万元，青年项目每项资助2万元；“外语信息化专项”拟立项26项，一般项目18项，青年项目8项。一般项目每项资助3万元，青年项目每项资助2万元。
       “外语专项”的最终成果形式包括研究报告、论文和专著三类。其中，研究报告不少于3万字；论文要求在公开刊物上发表论文3篇以上（含3篇），内容须具有相关性、系统性；专著书稿不少于10万字。项目完成时间为2年。
        项目申报系统开通时间4月13日10:00—5月5日中午12：00。项目申报人请在系统开放后登录“广东省哲学社会科学规划项目管理平台”（http://www.gdppssp.com.cn/）下载并填写《广东省哲学社会科学规划2023年外语专项申请书》（注：《申请书》封面“项目类别”填写“外语学科专项”或“外语信息化专项”）。“外语学科专项”和“外语信息化专项”我校一般项目各限报2项，青年项目各限报1项。若校内申报数超过限项数，则需要通过内部评审并择优报送。请申请人于5月4日9点前在系统提交,  以便学校组织遴选。收到审核通过通知后，请获选申请人打印申报书和活页（各一式六份，A3纸双面打印中缝装订，申请书需本人签字）提交到研究拓展及知识转移处。另外，请有意愿申报此项目的老师于4月18日（下周二）之前，将姓名、联系方式、拟申报的项目名称及项目类别发送给Mr. Terry Li(mailto:yangli@uic.edu.cn)备案，谢谢合作！如有疑问请直接致电（3620681）或者邮件进行咨询。
Please eligible applicants upload the completed application forms via “ Guangdong Philosophy and Social Sciences Project Management Platform” (http://www.gdppssp.com.cn/) before 9:00, 4 May  2023. After the preliminary review, your submission of hard copies are expected to reach the Research Development and Knowledge Transfer Office subsequently. The application quota for each project is 3 items and we will pick up the best proposals to submit. Additionally, the interested applicants are supposed to send your principal investigator name ,contact information, project category and title to Mr. Terry Li before 18 April , 2023(next Tuesday).
