Under the leadership of senior management of UIC, Research Development and Knowledge Transfer Office is an administrative department responsible for organization and management of research in UIC.
Mission of RDKTO :
1. Implement the national guidelines and policies on scientific research ;formulate the annual and the medium & long-term scientific research development plan of the UIC, formulate the rules and regulations of the UIC's scientific research management, and promote the continuous improvement of the level of the UIC's scientific research achievement;
2. Organise the declaration, implementation and assessment of various scientific research projects at all levels, and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the matching fund of scientific research projects;
3. Carry out scientific research cooperation : be responsible for the promotion of the UIC's scientific research achievements, external academic exchanges and scientific research publicity;
4. Be responsible for industry-university-research co-operation between the UIC and other departments, including the UIC's technology transfer, technical development, service, consulting, as well as contract implementation process( review, signing, supervision);
5. Be responsible for the UIC's scientific research results of statistics, reporting, archiving & reward work, maintenance of intellectual property management (patent and other technological achievements);
6. Be responsible for the day-to-day work of the UIC's scientific research committee, academic atmosphere maintenance and academic ethics construction;
7. Be responsible for the UIC at all levels of various types of scientific research project funding management and reimbursement;
8. To complete other work assigned by the UIC.
