The Arts Project of 2023 National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC) released by National Office for Arts and Ministry of Culture and Tourism is currently open for application online. Projects are required to be matched to several disciplines outlined in the attached application guideline (attachment 3). The application quota is limited (waiting for announcement of Guangdong Academy of Arts)  and we will pick up the best proposals to submit online. As required, all the research applications should be submitted in Chinese. Foreign nationality holders are not eligible as Principal Investigators of NSSFC Arts Project other than Co-Investigators.

  经文化和旅游部和全国艺术科学规划领导小组批准，2023年度国家社会科学基金艺术学项目开始申报。申请人须具有副高级（含）以上专业技术职称（职务）或者具有博士学位。不具有副高级（含）以上专业技术职称或者博士学位的，可以申请青年项目。青年项目申请人的年龄不得超过35周岁（1988年3月31日后出生）。申请人可参考附件3中的课题指南，按照指南中的方向性条目和具体条目进行申报。
  本年度国家社会科学基金艺术学项目设置重点项目、一般项目、青年项目，同时设立西部项目，对边远贫困地区和少数民族地区特别是西部地区研究项目给予一定倾斜。项目资助额度参考标准为：重点项目35万元，一般项目、青年项目、西部项目20万元。申请人应按照附件4《国家社会科学基金项目资金管理办法》的要求，根据实际需要编制科学合理的经费预算。
   2023年度国家社会科学基金艺术学项目继续实行网上申报。请申请人登录全国艺术科学规划项目申报管理系统（系统路径为：文化和旅游部网站主页→在线办事→办事大厅→全国艺术科学规划项目申报管理系统：https://yskx.mct.gov.cn/index，以下简称“系统”），按照有关说明注册帐号并提交申报材料。本年度国家社科基金艺术学项目继续实行限额申报，我校申报名额为4项，若我校校内申报数超过限额，则需要通过校内遴选并择优上报。网上集中申报和审核提交截止时间为2023年3月31日，请申请人务必于2023年3月27日 （周一）12点之前提交到系统，已预留足够时间便于学校组织遴选及审核。另外，2023年度国家自然科学基金、国家社科基金其他项目及教育部人文社科基金一般项目的申请人，不得申请此项目。请有意愿申报此项目的老师于3月6日（下周一）或之前，将您的课题负责人姓名、项目类别、拟申报的项目名称发送给Mr.Terry Li(mailto:yangli@uic.edu.cn)，谢谢合作！如有疑问请直接致电（3620681）或者邮件进行咨询Mr. Terry Li (mailto:yangli@uic.edu.cn)。

This project is applied online through “National Arts Project Management Platform”  (https://yskx.mct.gov.cn/index?url=http://yskx.mct.gov.cn/). Please register your own account for new users and send a confirmation email to Mr. Terry Li (yangli@uic.edu.cn) after successful registration. Please eligible applicants complete application information and upload the required application forms via this system before 12:00, 27 March 2023.
