The 2022 National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC) released by National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences will be open for application. Projects are required to be matched to several disciplines outlined in the attached announcement. The application quota is limited (waiting for announcement of Provincial Planning Office) and we will pick up the best proposals to submit. As required, all the research applications should be submitted in Chinese. Foreign nationality holders are not eligible as Principal Investigators of NSSFC applications other than Co-Investigators.     经全国哲学社会科学工作领导小组批准，2022年度国家社科基金项目申报工作已于近日正式启动。课题申报范围涉及23个学科，须按照附件6《国家社科基金项目申报数据代码表》填写《国家社科基金项目申请书》（以下简称《申请书》）。跨学科研究课题要以“靠近优先”原则，选择一个为主学科申报。申报课题的资助额度，重点项目35万元，一般项目和青年项目20万元。申请人须具有副高级以上（含）专业技术职称（职务）或者具有博士学位。不具有副高级以上（含）专业技术职称（职务）或者博士学位的，可以申请青年项目。青年项目申请人的年龄不超过35周岁（1987年3月20日后出生）。申请人应按照附件7《国家社会科学基金项目资金管理办法》的要求，根据实际需要编制科学合理的经费预算。

       2022年国家社科基金项目实行网络申报。申请人需登陆国家社科基金科研创新服务管理平台（https://xm.npopss-cn.gov.cn）， 以实名信息注册账号后登录系统，下载国家社会科学基金项目申请书（网络填报版）并填写相关信息，检查内容无误后（申请书第一行出现“您现在可以上传申请书”的提示）通过项目申报系统上传申请书。项目申报系统于3月1日零时至3月20日24时开放，逾期系统自动关闭，不再受理申报。申请人请下载附件4中的申请书和附件5中的课题论证活页，填写完毕并在系统开放后上传，同时完善在线申报信息。申请人在线申报的同时仍需提交纸质版《申请书》一式3份，并确保线上线下《申请书》内容完全一致。《活页》不需提交纸质版。

      本年度国家社科基金项目继续实行限额申报，我校申报名额有待省社科联通知，申报项目超过限额将会进行校内择优遴选。请有意愿申报国社科的老师于2022年1月19日（下周三）前，将您的课题负责人姓名、项目类别、拟申报的课题名称发送至yangli@uic.edu.cn ，以便研究拓展与知识转移处提前做好相关准备。另外，请申请人将电子版申请书和活页（Word格式，申请书需以申请人姓名命名）于2021年3月11日 之前发送至yangli@uic.edu.cn , 待学校评审结果确定后，评审通过的申请人再提交纸质版材料，谢谢合作！如有疑问请直接致电（3620681）或者邮件进行咨询。

This project is applied online through “The National Social Science Fund of China Project Management Platform”(https://xm.npopss-cn.gov.cn). The project will be available for application from 1 March, 2022. The new users shall register your own account . The application quota of NSSFC is limited and we will pick up the best proposals to submit.
